Tim Murray; Rambert Orchestra - Mark-Anthony Turnage: Undance

UNDANCE (2011) is a project created for Sadler's Wells by Turnage with choreographer Wayne McGregor and artist Mark Wallinger, inspired by the work of photographic pioneer Eadweard Muybridge. Its edgy syncopation frames various tunes and motifs that appear throughout the work. Crying Out Loud (2002-3), originally written for Ensemble Modern, has been set by a number of different choreographers: this propulsive work fluctuates between duple and triple time, interrupted by irregular staccato stabs. No Let Up (2003) is an energetic piece scored for and ensemble including saxophones, drum kit and bass guitar.
