This is Volume 1 in what will be the complete Pieces de Clavecin of Francois Couperin, performed by harpsichordist Mark Kroll. Ultimately this set will comprise approximately twelve volumes.

Mark Kroll's distinguished career as a performer, scholar and educator spans a period of more than fifty years. He has appeared in concert worldwide as a harpsichordist and fortepianist, published numerous books and articles, and taught in the United States and abroad, including twenty-five years as Professor of Harpsichord and Chair of the Department of Historical Performance at Boston University.
