Influenced by acts such as Celtic Frost and Candlemass, the band's heavy atmospherics have carved a huge worldwide following over the years and they remain at the pinnacle of the genre and one of the most instantly distinguishable metal bands.'The Vaulted Shadows' brings together two of the band's latest and possibly heaviest works into one cohesive package. Combining the tragic tales of both the grim and sinister 30 minute epic 'The Barghest O Whitby' (2011), with 2013's own doom-filled treasure, 'The Manuscript', 'The Vaulted Shadows' neatly compiles the releases surrounding the 'A Map of All Our Failures' album era into one hour-long masterwork.Both titles were recorded at Futureworks Studios, Manchester, with producer Mags.Features updated artwork combing the themes of both releases, with a newly adapted cover courtesy of Andy Green, notable for his prior work on the 'Songs of Darkness, Words of Light' album.
