The Hi Alerts - Conjure Time

They had time to kill and needs to fulfil and this venture brings Michael Rooney and Martin Rodger from 30 year veterans The Primevals together with young guns Al Hotchkiss and native American Celina Ozymandias from psychedelic garage mayhem makers Los Tentakills along with Rhod Burnett and Ady Gillespie from the super ace Nutmeg City to become The Hi-Alerts. Songs reigned in, delights were consumed, tunes quickly emerged with a hint of high tone and in shape and form - some folk have seen this as a natural collaboration between these musical anthropologists who have simply found their niche. Others have said that these songs represent a non-elitist approach to garage rock`n`roll - not in the studied cool of the genre or a sanitised version..................Hell !! - all that stuff is just too easy !! This is Sky Saxon meets Gene Krupa - not an electronica button in sight. Sorry kids if it sounds retro - well what is not............................ it therfor is !!
