Irina Georgieva; Sinfonieorchester Basel - Rachmaninoff: Piano Conc. No. 3 & Rhapsody On A Theme

Irina Georgieva, the former master student of Rudolf Buchbinder, performs regularly in Switzerland. For her debut at PROSPERO she has chosen her favourite composer Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Together with the Basel Symphony Orchestra, she will interpret two of his best-known works: the Third Piano Concerto in D minor and the incredibly virtuosic Paganini Variations.

Both works are close linked to the composer�s time in Switzerland.
