Various - Voices Of Rainforest

In this CD the Meininger Trio enters what for Central Europeans is exotic terrain. From the tropical rainforest we first go to India, from there to the ice of Canada and finally to Ancient China. The Meininger-Trio was founded in the year 2000 and it includes flutist and founder of the group Christiane Meininger, cellist, Francoise Groben and pianist, Rainer Gepp. The trio quickly gained a first rate reputation for their luscious tonal blend, their profound understanding of the art of chamber music playing, and their unusually imaginative concert programs. Titles like Colours of the Sea, Voces de mi Tierra (Voices of My Land) or Slow Structures-Snow Melting Time exemplify original, sensual and exciting chamber music of our day.
