Dzintra Erliha and Ilona Meija - Other Colours: Latvian Composers for Flute

A wide range of compositions for flute by Latvian composers, from the classics of Garuta and Medins to new world premiere recordings of Tumsevica, Buss and Aperane. One of the most prominent Latvian flute players, Ilona Meija holds a Principal Flute position in Sinfonietta Riga chamber orchestra and also teaches at the Latvian Academy of Music.
