Vasteras Sinfonietta - Nightingale - A Tribute to Jenny Lind

Swedish-based British conductor, Simon Crawford-Phillips, leads the award-winning Swedish chamber orchestra V�ster�s Sinfonietta and acclaimed soprano Elin Rombo on a musical journey charting the life and influence of the legendary singer Jenny Lind. In the 200th year since her birth this disc celebrates 'The Swedish Nightingale�s' career through the music of her musical friends, Felix Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann and Hans Christian Andersen.
