Guido Fichtner - Paganini: Works For Guitar

Guitar has played an important role in Paganini's life, in fact he used it extensively for composing, teaching and dedicated a lot of time and attention to it. His works vary in difficulty which makes them approachable for both the budding guitarist and the most exuberant professional. Guido Fichtner has already recorded a double disc of Paganini's Guitar Sonatas M.S.84 for Dynamic (CDS550). Continuing his exploration of Paganini's guitar music Fichtner has chosen to get the authentic sound by playing on an instrument dating from 1822.
