Quartetto Icarus - Vivaldi/ Bach: Recorders

This recording presents pieces freely transcribed by both composers, with particular attention to Bach compositions drawn from the original Vivaldi repertoire. The ensemble Quartetto Icarus is well suited to the polyphonic writing by these two Baroque composers.
