Skovhus/Vladar - Schubert: Die sch�ne M�llerin

Twenty years ago, Bo Skovhus made his first recording of Schubert�s Die sch�ne M�llerin (The Fair Maid of the Mill) as a young baritone at the outset of his career. Now an established opera and Lied interpreter, he presents the first of three new recordings of Schubert's song cycles: 'I�m very thankful to be able to do this again. As a young man you tend to not reflect as much. Now that I�m older, I understand the music more and more. Especially for this cycle, it�s important to have another point of view' (Bo Skovhus). Skovhus' accompanist is Stefan Vladar, the renowned Viennese pianist who casts the virtuosity of the piano part in a completely new light.
