The three works for two pianos recorded here take up the time-honoured baroque compositional form of suite without running the risk of being mere copies of past styles of expression.

Rather, they reinvigorate the genre with new ideas and approaches. An interesting fact on the side: all composers represented on this production were 27 years old at the time the works were composed.
