Lisa Maria Schachtschneider - FEMINAE � The Female In Music

For the program of the ARS PRODUKTION recording presented here with works by women composers, pianist Lisa Maria Schachtschneider was inspired by the 200th birthday of Clara Schumann in 2019. On this new SACD recording, she performs works by Clara Schumann, Tatjana Komarova, Fanny Hensel and Elisabetta de Gamberini amongst others.In the spirit of equality and diversification, however, she has decided to record the work of a male composer, with Robert Schumann's Carnaval Op.9, too.
