Los Temperamentos - Entre Dos Tiempos

With this album Los Temperamentos takes the audience to a distant time and to distant places in a Spanish-speaking world about 300 years ago; a world in constant change - just like its inhabitants then and now. With Entre dos Tiempos the ensemble brings a colourful programme to the stage that deals intensively with the rhythmic and dance elements of the baroque music of Latin America and southern Europe.

The title stands for the duality of human life, music and existence in general.

Between two times reflects all of this: the different emotions, the exotic rhythms in the music of those days up to the turning point that came with the colonisation of South America. As if life would be a dance that constantly changes the beat.
