La Via Della Droga (translated as The Heroin Busters) is a cult film: a serious crime movie, coming out in 1977 when the genre became unpopular at the expense of cheap 'Italian comedy'. And so despite the presence of the actor David Hemmings, who also starred in Deep Red, what made it a cult in the first instance was Goblin's soundtrack, here with the 4-piece band of Simonetti, Morante, Pignatelli and Marangolo made immediately after the recording of Suspiria and after the resignation of keyboardist Guarini. It was finally released in the '90s and remained completely unedited for over two decades. The score is composed of funk, psychedelia and rock.
