With his debut recording, the young pianist Paul Coriolan Cartianu ventures into three of Ludwig van Beethoven's great works.In addition to the Waldstein Sonata and the infamous Opus 111, it is the Variations in C minor, WoO 80, which span the harmonic arc from C minor via C major back to C minor.
