London based indie rock trio DESERT MOUNTAIN TRIBE are set to release their sophomore album Om Parvat Mystery, including first single 'Wide Eyes'. Having recorded the album on Faroe Islands they expand their reach of influences on the new songs, and the Himalaya reference of the album title is no coincidence - world music artist Najma Akhtar is featured on the last two songs.
Formed in 2012, Desert Mountain Tribe released their debut album 'Either That Or The Moon' in the spring of 2016 to positive reviews from UK publications such as Shindig, Classic Rock, Louder Than War, Drowned In Sound and The Arts Desk. Subsequent releases have included two digital EP's, 'If You Don't Know Can You Don't Know Kln' and 'Live At St. Pancras Old Church', plus the Youth mixed single 'Enos In Space (Top Of The World)'. The EP is available as Record Store Day 2018 release in the UK. The band spent much of 2017 on the road, including tours of both North America and mainland Europe, with new drummer Frank van der Ploeg joining the group in the autumn.
